Alan Smith and Adam Foulkes, graduates of the RCA, are renowned for their multidisciplinary craft and conceptual precision, seamlessly blending animation, design and storytelling into culturally defining work.
Their iconic Honda “Grrr” campaign won Black Pencils at D&AD, the Cannes Grand Prix, and was voted Ad of the Decade by Adweek. Since then, their work in both commercials and longform has earned an Oscar Nomination alongside a BAFTA and an Annie, cementing their reputation as true masters of the medium.
The duo recently returned to the commercial spotlight with Telstra’s animated epic “Duet” which won Gold at Cresta for Outstanding Animation alongside many other awards. Building on the success of this campaign, Smith & Foulkes have just released the even more ambitious Telstra sequel, evolving the story with their trademark blend of craft and wit.
